Two students recently uploaded a selfie video, jokingly mentioning how Vijay Deverakonda is their favourite actor. In their wildest dreams, they wouldn’t have imagined what happened next.
Telugu star Vijay Deverakonda became a household name after the release of Sandeep Reddy Vanga's 'Arjun Reddy'. The star now enjoys a pan-India popularity and in the latest entertainment news, two students recently uploaded a selfie video on Instagram, jokingly mentioning how Vijay Deverakonda is their favourite actor. The duo also mentioned how they would not start studying until Vijay Deverakonda commented on it. "If Vijay Deverakonda comments on this video, then we will start preparing for our exam,” they said in the video.
In the description, the user added, “Just in case if we fail our exams, we have an excuse to blame it on @thedeverakonda."

Vijay Deverakonda has now finally reacted to the video, commenting, "Get 90%, and I will meet you."
This comment has now garnered more likes than the post itself, and the video hence, has also gone viral.
Speaking of Vijay Deverakonda, he had made his film debut in 2011's 'Nuvvila', directed by Ravi Babu. He then further rose to fame through Tharun Bhascker’s 'Pelli Choopulu' in 2016.
However, it was Sandeep Reddy Vanga's 'Arjun Reddy' that helped Deverakonda achieve national stardom.
Vijay Deverakonda's Hindi film debut turned out to be a flop show as 'Liger' bombed at the box office.
The actor was last seen in Shiva Nirvana’s 'Kushi' (2023), in which he shared the screen with Samantha Ruth Prabhu The film received mixed reviews and had an underwhelming box office performance.
Deverakonda will next be seen in Parasuram’s 'Family Star', which will release in cinemas in April 2024. The film also stars Mrunal Thakur in a key role.
