Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon are all set to bring a desi werewolf story to the masses with their upcoming Bollywood movie ‘Bhediya’, slated to hit theatres on November 25, 2022. The first trailer of the new Hindi movie was released recently, and it is sure to take you on a rollercoaster ride, filled with laughter and chills.

Apart from Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon, ‘Bhediya’ also stars Deepak Dobriyal, Abhishek Banerjee and Paalin Kabak.

The nearly three-minute-long trailer showcases Varun Dhawan's journey as he transforms into a werewolf after being bitten by a mythical wolf. The trailer, which is equal parts funny and chilling, is packed with comic moments as Varun Dhawan and his friends try to understand what he is going through.

Apart from introducing Varun Dhawan’s werewolf character, the trailer also shows Kriti Sanon playing a doctor. The Bollywood movie’s trailer begins with Varun’s character wondering why the werewolf chose to bite him, and Kriti’s character saying that because he has been chosen, he now must take the responsibility and can use his powers for good. The trailer also teases Varun’s CGI-aided transformation into a werewolf.

The Bhediya ends with a remix of the famous song ‘Jungle Jungle Baat Chali Hai’ from the animated ‘Jungle Book’ series. The Bollywood film’s trailer also introduces us to the rest of the cast including Abhishek Banerjee and Deepak Dobriyal.

Billed as a creature-comedy, ‘Bhediya’ marks Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon's second collaboration after sharing screen space in the 2015 rom-com 'Dilwale'. Helmed by Amar Kaushik and produced by Dinesh Vijan, the Bollywood film will release in cinemas pan-India in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil in 2D and 3D.
