Director Atlee has had a memorable year as his first Bollywood project 'Jawan' starring Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi has turned out to be a huge success. The movie has already made more than Rs 460 crore in just the Hindi version, and it is on its way, to become the highest-grossing Hindi movie of all-time. However, some reports have surfaced that 'Lady Superstar' Nayanthara is upset with director Atlee over her role in 'Jawan'.

In the latest entertainment news, it seems like Nayanthara has rejected all these reports, as she posted an adorable birthday wish for Atlee, who celebrated his 37th birthday yesterday.

Taking to Instagram Story, Nayanthara wrote: "Happy Birthday @atlee47. So proud of you (hug emojis)."

Nayanthara also shared the images from the sets of 'Jawan', in which she can be seen chatting with Atlee.

Earlier, a report in Hindustan Times stated that Nayanthara was not very happy with Atlee and she might not do any Bollywood projects anytime soon.

"She has been very upset with Atlee because her role was chopped in the film. Also, Deepika’s (Padukone) character was elevated and Nayanthara’s part was significantly sidelined," Hindustan Times had quoted a source as saying.

Recently, a 'Jawan' success meet was held in Mumbai and it was attended by the likes of SRK, Deepika Padukone, Atlee, Vijay Sethupathi, Anirudh Ravichander, Sanya Malhotra, Ridhi Dogra and others. However, Nayanthara did not attend the event because of family commitments.

'Jawan' has already collected more than 'Gadar 2' at the Indian box office, and the movie is on its way to surpass 'Pathaan' this weekend.
