Watch: Badshah Takes A Hilarious Dig At Donald Trump During His US Show
Badshah’s Unfinished USA Tour made headlines after he cheekily twisted the lyrics of ‘Tareefan’ to reference US President Donald Trump.
Indian rapper Badshah is currently setting stages ablaze across North America with his Unfinished USA Tour, seamlessly blending high-energy performances with clever social commentary. At a recent concert in New Jersey, the singer gave fans a memorable surprise by tweaking one of his most popular hits ‘Tareefan’ from ‘Veere Di Wedding’. Mid-performance, Badshah switched up the famous line “Kinniya Tareefan Chahidi Ae Tenu” to “Kinni Tariff Chahidiye Trump Ko”. The cheeky play on words, referencing US President Donald Trump and ongoing tariff debates, sent the crowd into roars of laughter and applause.
The moment highlighted Badshah’s knack for merging humour with current affairs, making his shows both entertaining and topical. Video of the same has gone viral on the internet.

The joke came shortly after Salman Khan made what was widely interpreted as a veiled dig at Trump on ‘Bigg Boss 19’. During a clash between contestants Farrhana Bhatt and Neelam Giri, Salman intervened and remarked, “Ye kya ho raha hai poori duniya me. Jo sabse zyada trouble phela rahe hain, unhi ko peace prize chahiye.” Many online users speculated this was directed at Trump, who has frequently expressed his desire to be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.

Badshah’s tour has already made waves in the UK, UAE, and Canada, and the North American leg is proving equally popular. Stops in Virginia and New Jersey have been packed with energy, and upcoming shows in the Bay Area, Seattle, Dallas, and Chicago are expected to keep the buzz alive.
High production values and surprise celebrity cameos – including Nora Fatehi and Mickey Singh – have added extra star power to the concerts.
Beyond the tour, Badshah continues to ride high on the success of his latest album ‘Ek Tha Raja’. The record has topped charts with tracks like ‘God Damn’, ‘Jawaab’, and ‘Khushnuma’. The rapper also stunned fans recently by posting shirtless photos revealing a 20 kg weight loss transformation. He clarified that the achievement came through disciplined diet and exercise, not through popular weight-loss drugs such as Ozempic.
Badshah has also found himself in controversy, claiming authorship of the hit track ‘Brown Rang’, which had long been credited to Honey Singh.
