Veteran actor Dharmendra, who was last seen in Karan Johar's 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani', recently joined Salman Khan and 'Bigg Boss 17' contestants for the New Year celebrations. It was one fun-filled episode, and Dharmendra enjoyed quite a bit with Salman and the contestants. On the episode, Samarth Jurel mimicked the 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani' actor. However, the biggest highlight was Dharmendra and Salman Khan recreating Bobby Deol's 'Jamal Kudu' viral step from 'Animal' on the 'Weekend Ka Vaar' episode.

Other than Dharmendra and Salman Khan, singer Mika Singh, actor Arbaaz Khan and comedian Krushna Abhishek were also seen trying to recreate the viral dance step. They all had empty glasses on their heads as they tried to balance them while grooving to 'Jamal Kudu', which is originally an Iranian song.

Talking about Bobby Deol, the actor has gained immense appreciation for his role as an antagonist in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's 'Animal', which also stars Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor and Triptii Dimri.

'Animal' released in theatres on December 1, 2023 and despite being bashed for its portrayal of toxic masculinity, the film has made more than Rs 500 crore in India and globally, it is nearing the Rs 900 crore mark.

Bobby Deol's entry sequence song, ‘Jamal Kudu’, from the film has become a sensation on social media, with everyone grooving to its peppy beats.

Bobby Deol, who recently attended Film Companion's Actors Roundtable, admitted that he initially used to feel “disgusted” while playing the character of Abrar in ‘Animal’.

“Yes, I used to feel disgusted with myself when I started shooting for it. But then I realised I'm playing a character. Why am I feeling so disgusted, so icky? Fir maine unhi logon ke sath jinke sath scene mein jo bhi kiya hai, fir unke sath hum shaam ko sath mein baith ke khana kha rahe hain. Everything is normal,” Bobby Deol said.
