Akshay Kumar, AR Rahman And 2 Other Stars Set To Light Up IPL 2024 Opening Ceremony
Here's all who will be performing at the opening ceremony of IPL 2024.
Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar along with two of the finest musicians/singers in the country AR Rahman and Sonu Nigam, and actor Tiger Shroff will be headlining the IPL 2024 opening ceremony. Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff will be starring in the new Hindi movie ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’, and could dance to the new numbers from the movie. Fans will also get to see famous music composer AR Rahman and arguably the best playback singer in India, Sonu Nigam. The IPL 2024 ceremony will be held at the M.A Chidambram stadium in Chennai, also the venue for the first match of the tournament between defending champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB).
Fans will be eager to see the high-octane dance moves from Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff, who have been thrilling crowds around the country as part of their promotional campaign for ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’.

The first weekend of IPL 2024 will both be double headers, starting with Punjab Kings taking on Delhi Capitals on Saturday afternoon, followed by the Kolkata Knight Riders hosting the SunRisers Hyderabad in the evening.
Sunday will see Rajasthan Royals welcome the Lucknow Super Giants in the first game of the day while in the evening 2022 champions and last year’s finalists Gujarat Titans will host five-time winners Mumbai Indians.
Meanwhile, last week, makers of ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ released the third song from the new Hindi movie, which has been titled ‘Wallah Habibi’.
The new Hindi song introduces the leading ladies of the film, Manushi Chhillar and Alaya F at their glamorous best.
