Punjabi singer Karan Aujla is having a landmark year. After dropping his highly anticipated album ‘P-Pop Culture’, the singer has now taken Punjabi pride to international television with a special appearance on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’. In a clip shared by the show’s official Instagram page, Karan Aujla can be seen teaching host Jimmy Fallon some bhangra steps, a moment that has left fans cheering worldwide. “@karanaujla teaches Jimmy some bhangra! #KaranOnFallon #FallonTonight,” the caption read.

The video, posted on Wednesday, began with Jimmy Fallon warmly hugging Karan Aujla before the bhangra tutorial began. Dressed in a classic black kurta-pyjama paired with a sleeveless jacket, Karan Aujla told Jimmy Fallon, “So I am going to teach you some bhangra today.” Jimmy Fallon laughed nervously and replied, “I am too stiff,” but gamely gave it a try.
With Karan Aujla guiding him, Jimmy Fallon picked up the basic steps and before long, both were grooving together to the beats of Karan Aujla’s hit song ‘Gabru’.
The fun exchange quickly went viral, with fans celebrating the visibility of Punjabi culture on such a global platform.

Karan Aujla, often referred to as ‘Geetan Di Machine’, recently released his third studio album ‘P-Pop Culture’ in collaboration with long-time producer Ikky on August 22, 2025. The 11-track album was dramatically unveiled mid-concert at a sold-out show in Montreal, a move that generated massive buzz. Calling it his most personal project yet, Karan Aujla said he had poured “every ounce” of himself into the record after two years of relentless work.
Looking ahead, the singer is set to create history yet again with his debut performance at Rolling Loud India. Scheduled for November 23, 2025, at Loud Park in Navi Mumbai, the festival will also host international names like Don Toliver, Westside Gunn, and Sambata.
