For the unversed, Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna-starrer ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ released on December 17, 2021.

The film’s songs such as ‘Oo Antava’, ‘Srivalli’ and ‘Saami Saami’, became insanely popular and were widely used on Instagram reels. The movie was directed by Sukumar and it was a massive commercial success in India.

“I am extremely happy that I am receiving this award. It’s a double achievement for me to receive it for a commercial film,” Allu Arjun said on the occasion, as per The Indian Express.

On the other hand, Kriti Sanon, said, “To win a National Award within the first decade (of your career) is a very big thing. I am really fortunate and blessed that I got an opportunity like Mimi. Sometimes you do not get to play such a layered character easily. I am really blessed and fortunate that my director and producer felt that I could do it.”

“Just feeling very elated today. I definitely knew Mimi is going to be a special film. I was very passionate about this one. When we were filming Mimi, Laxman Utekar used to tell me, ‘You will win a National Award for this’,” she added.

In other pictures, Alia Bhatt can be seen posing with her husband Ranbir Kapoor. A video has also surfaced on the internet in which Allu Arjun can be seen greeting Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor.
