Siddhant Chaturvedi romances Chae Soo Bin in new advertisement.

In a delightful crossover that no one saw coming, Bollywood heartthrob Siddhant Chaturvedi and rising South Korean star Chae Soo-Bin have teamed up for a breezy new footwear ad. And fans from both worlds are obsessed. Set against the backdrop of a rainy Mumbai day, the ad blends classic K-drama romance tropes with Bollywood monsoon nostalgia, making for an unexpectedly charming visual treat. The commercial, shot in Mumbai and shared by Crocs Japan, took the internet by surprise when it dropped online.

The collaboration had been kept under wraps, only to explode on social media once the video went live. Best known for her Netflix breakout ‘When the Phone Rings’, Chae Soo-Bin featured opposite Siddhant Chaturvedi in the advertisement, and their easy chemistry has fans swooning.

The ad checked all the boxes of a rom-com fantasy: rain-soaked streets, stolen glances, and the quintessential umbrella moment.

It begins with Chae Soo-Bin walking alone, holding a white umbrella, when Siddhant’s car speeds past and drenches her Crocs. She glares at him, visibly irritated, but soon notices him parked on the side, trying to fix a flat tyre. As he struggles in the rain, she turns back and offers him shelter under her umbrella. The scene closes with both sharing a laugh, walking together in the drizzle until she cheekily splashes water on his shoes.

Fans flooded the comment section of Crocs Japan’s Instagram post with excitement.

“Total K-drama in Bollywood style,” wrote one user.

Another one added, “Their chemistry in the advertisement gives it such a cinematic feel – it’s like watching a mini K-drama unfold in just a few seconds.”

Some even began demanding a full-fledged drama casting the two, calling Chae Soo-Bin “so princess coded” and praising the duo's visual pairing.

Siddhant Chaturvedi, who was last seen in the action flick ‘Yudhra’ opposite Malavika Mohanan, is steadily carving his place as a leading man in Bollywood with films like ‘Gully Boy’, ‘Gehraiyaan’, and ‘Phone Bhoot’ under his belt.

On the other hand, Chae Soo-Bin has built a loyal fan base with hit dramas like ‘I’m Not a Robot’, ‘Strongest Deliveryman’, and ‘Where Stars Land’. But it was ‘When the Phone Rings’, in which she played a mute anchor using sign language, that catapulted her to international recognition.

This unexpected pairing in a rain-drenched ad has now opened the doors to fan-made dreams of a full-on K-Bollywood romance. Until then, this charming 30-second ad might just be enough to tide everyone over.
