'Anupamaa', 'Om Shanti Om' Actor Nitesh Pandey Dies Of Cardiac Arrest At 51
'Anupamaa' actor Nitesh Pandey died of a cardiac arrest on Wednesday.
Actor Nitesh Pandey, known for playing the role of Dheeraj in Star Plus' TV serial 'Anupamaa', died of a cardiac arrest on Wednesday. He was 51 years old. As per The Indian Express, the actor suffered a cardiac arrest in Igatpuri, Maharashtra. Producer JD Majethia who has worked on numerous projects with Nitesh Pandey, confirmed the news to The Indian Express. “Nitesh was in Igatpuri and suffered a cardiac arrest. He passed away around 2 am," the producer said.

For the unversed, Nitesh Pandey was a part of the entertainment industry for more than 25 years.
The actor had also played the role of Shah Rukh Khan's assistant in Farah Khan's-directorial titled 'Om Shanti Om', which also marked the acting debut of Deepika Padukone.
Nitesh Pandey had started his career in theatre in early 1990s, and then he went on to do a number of TV shows.
He acted in shows like 'Tejas', 'Saaya', 'Kahani' and 'Justajoo'.
The actor also played a key role in 'Khosla Ka Ghosla'.
'Anupamaa' and 'Pyar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyara Pyara' remain his last TV appearances.
