Asim Riaz Calls ‘Bigg Boss 13’ Rigged; Sidharth Shukla Fans, Shehnaaz Gill's Brother Shehbaz Slam Him
Shehnaaz Gill’s brother Shehbaz Badesha has taken potshots at ‘BB 13’ runner-up Asim Riaz, who claimed that Sidharth Shukla's win in the reality show was rigged.
Model-singer Asim Riaz became a household name after participating in the Salman Khan-hosted show ‘Bigg Boss 13’. Asim Riaz made it to the finale race and became the runner-up of the show, losing to late actor Sidharth Shukla, who lifted the winner’s trophy of ‘BB 13’. After the ‘Bigg Boss 13’ winner announcement, several people thought that Asim Riaz was more deserving of the title and started slamming the makers for making Sidharth Shukla the winner of the reality show.
After almost four years, Asim Riaz reflected on his ‘Bigg Boss 13’ journey and claimed that Sidharth Shukla’s win was rigged.
For the unversed, Sidharth Shukla passed away in September 2021 due to cardiac arrest. Asim was also heartbroken after his demise. However, he still feels that he was much more deserving than the late ‘Balika Vadhu’ star.
In a recent interview with RJ Siddharth Kannan, Asim Riaz said, "Mere dauraan unhone kya kiya, because they didn’t want me to win, haanji bhai aaj hum online voting khol denge 15 min ke liye, jitana hai jitao jisko. Come on man, just say you don’t want to make me win, it’s okay. You made it that obvious that we had to believe that you did whatever and I was like it’s okay."

For the unversed, Sidharth Shukla and Asim Riaz shared a close friendship and rivalry on ‘Bigg Boss 13’, hosted by Salman Khan.
While Sidharth Shukla’s close friend and ‘BB 13’ star Shehnaaz Gill has not responded to Asim’s statement, her brother Shehbaz Badesha took a sly dig at the model-singer’s remark.

No i think bb13 was a close competition.. everyone was well deserving.. paras sid and asim were all very strong but sid did have more fan following and gave the show alot more than just fights and attitude

Asim Riaz hails from Jammu and Kashmir. His elder brother, Umar Riaz, who is a model and surgeon by profession, had appeared on ‘Bigg Boss 15’.
