'Bigg Boss 13’ fame Asim Riaz has reacted to Himanshi Khurana announcing their breakup on social media.
Model-singer Asim Riaz became a household name after participating in the Salman Khan-hosted reality show ‘Bigg Boss 13’. Asim Riaz made it to the finale race and became the runner-up of ‘BB 13’, losing to late Indian actor Sidharth Shukla, who lifted the winner’s trophy of the reality show. Asim Riaz remained a fan-favourite on the show for his strong game. He also stayed in the limelight for his adorable chemistry with Punjabi actress Himanshi Khurana, who entered the show as a wild card contestant. The duo was often referred to as ‘AsiManshi’ by their fans.
The two continued dating for several years after ‘BB 13’. However, Himanshi Khurana recently confirmed their breakup on social media. After Himanshi Khurana announced their breakup, Asim Riaz broke his silence on the same.
While confirming their breakup, Himanshi Khurana said that the duo decided to part ways due to their different “religious beliefs”. A few hours after this, Himanshi shared another statement on X (formerly Twitter).
She wrote in the now-deleted post, “This is my last and final statement to clarify that I am secular person so I am not disrespecting any religion...I just chose mine. If I don't wanna anyone of you to blame him (Asim) for breakup then I also want no one of you to blabber against me...From my past relationship I was quiet for reason I took whole blame here I tried the same but I am sorry people took it other way.”
She also posted a screenshot of their chat, in which Asim asked Himanshi to mention the real reason behind their breakup.
Reacting to it, Asim Riaz also took to X and shared a post. He wrote, “Yes Indeed we both agreed to sacrifice our love for our respective religious beliefs. We both are 30+ and we have full right to take these mature decisions and we made it. We’ve decided to part ways amicably, embracing our individual journeys. Respect for Himanshi and our diverse path and yes indeed i told her to write the real reason for our separation. Request you to all to respect our privacy.”

Asim Riaz’s reaction came in response to the trolling Himanshi Khurana received after she announced their breakup on social media.
Himanshi and Asim, who met on ‘Bigg Boss 13’, soon fell in love with each other. After exiting ‘Bigg Boss’, the duo also featured together in several love songs – ‘Kalla Sohna Nai’, ‘Afsos Karoge’, ‘Khyaal Rakheya Kar’ and ‘Dil ko Maine Di Kasam’.
