‘Bigg Boss 13’ fame Himanshi Khurana has confirmed her breakup with Asim Riaz.
‘Bigg Boss 13’, hosted by Salman Khan, is still cherished by fans as the best one as it introduced viewers to iconic figures like actress Shehnaaz Kaur and model-singer Asim Riaz. ‘BB 13’ also gave fans beloved pairs like ‘SidNaaz’, ‘AsiManshi’, and ‘Pahira’. Asim Riaz’s strong connection with Punjabi actress Himanshi Khurana, who entered the show as a wild card participant, was a major highlight of ‘BB 13’. The two were often referred to ‘AsiManshi’ by their fans. While Himanshi Khurana was eliminated from the show, Asim Riaz made it to the finale race and became the runner-up.
He lost to late actor Sidharth Shukla, who lifted the winner’s trophy of ‘BB 13’. But Asim Riaz became a popular figure post the show and appeared is music videos with his ladylove Himanshi Khurana. They were also seen together on multiple occasions and never shied away from expressing their love for each other on social media. However, they recently parted ways after being together for several years.
While reports of them parting ways have been doing the rounds for a while, Himanshi Khurana has finally confirmed their breakup on X (formerly Twitter). The Punjabi actress said that the duo has decided to part ways due to their different religious beliefs.
“YES, We are not together anymore, All the time we have spent together has been great but our togetherness comes to an end Now. The journey of our relationship was great and we are moving forward in our lives. With due respect to our respective religions we are sacrificing our love for our different religious beliefs. We have nothing against each other. We request you to respect our privacy. Himanshi,” she said in an official statement.

Himanshi Khurana also had something to say on her Instagram Story. "When we tried... But we could not find a solution for our life... You still love each other but luck is not supporting for happily ever after. No hate only love. That's called mature decision," she wrote.

While Himanshi Khurana acknowledged their breakup in public, Asim Riaz is yet to comment on the matter.
During her stint on ‘Bigg Boss 13’, Himanshi had revealed that she was dating someone else for the past nine years. After coming out of the Salman Khan-hosted show, she ended up announcing her breakup with her then-beau.
Since 2020, she was dating her ‘Bigg Boss’ co-contestant Asim Riaz. For the unversed, the latter had confessed his feelings for her inside the house. The couple had also released four songs in 2020 — ‘Kalla Sohna Nai’, ‘Afsos Karoge’, ‘Khyaal Rakheya Kar’ and ‘Dil ko Maine Di Kasam’.
