'Bigg Boss 17': Mrunal Thakur has extended her support and love towards contestant Ankita Lokhande.

'Bigg Boss 17' is nearing its grand finale, and it needs to be seen who ends up winning the Salman Khan-hosted reality TV show. In the latest entertainment news, 'Hi Nanna' actress Mrunal Thakur has extended her support and love towards contestant Ankita Lokhande, who is a part of 'Bigg Boss 17' along with her husband Vicky Jain. For the unversed, Ankita and Mrunal had worked together in TV serial 'Pavitra Rishta', where they had played sisters.

Mrunal Thakur posted a picture of Ankita Lokhande in a gorgeous pink saree.

Taking to Instagram Stories, Mrunal wrote, "Ankita my gurl the strongest (raising hands emojis). Sending you strength and love."

For the uninitiated, Ankita Lokhande has been receiving love and support from several celebrities. She is among the strongest contenders this season.

Recently, Samarth Jurel was evicted from ongoing 'Bigg Boss 17'. Last week, the 'Weekend Ka Vaar' episode was hosted by Karan Johar.

KJo then praised Ankita Lokhande and her game and he also confronted Vicky Jain about his behaviour amid their never-ending fights on the show.

Recently, ex-Bigg Boss contestant Rakhi Sawant had also come out in support of Ankita Lokhande, and she taunted Vicky Jain's mother.

"Vicky and Ankita got married, but why are you coming in between their fights? What are you doing, mother-in-law? Be at peace, have good food, enjoy your life. Why are you doing this," said Rakhi Sawant.

"Ankita will anyway win the trophy. She will win Bigg Boss, it's my prediction. Our Marathi girl Ankita will win the show. Then you will celebrate by saying, 'My daughter-in-law won.' Don't do like this, Ankita's mother-in-law. Don't speak so much between your son and daughter-in-law. We also had a lot of fights at my home. My mother never interfered. Respect your daughter-in-law, only then will people respect your daughter,” she added.
