"Feel Like Holding And Kissing…": Jennifer Mistry Shares Details Of 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmaah' Producer's Sexual Advances
Actress Jennifer Mistry, who played the role of Mrs Roshan Sodhi in 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmaah', has made some shocking allegations.
Actress Jennifer Mistry played the role of Mrs Roshan Sodhi in uber-popular show 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmaah'. The star recently left the show in March this year, and in the latest entertainment news, she has made some serious allegations of sexual harassment against the show's producer Asit Kumarr Modi. In an interview with AajTak, Jennifer Mistry has now narrated what all happened with her, and she has also filed a sexual harassment case against producer Asit Modi.
“From the beginning, Asit ji used to say ‘you are looking very nice.’ He once asked me what do you drink to which I boldly said whiskey. After this, he repeatedly asked me to come and drink whiskey with him. Although it was jokingly, however, things changed in 2019 when our entire team went to Singapore. During the trip, Asit me to come and drink whiskey in his room. I was surprised to hear this from him. Then a day later he said, ‘you are looking very beautiful, I feel like holding and kissing you. Hearing this, I trembled in fear," India Today quoted Jennifer Mistry as saying.
The actress then recalled how she ended up telling all of this to two of her colleagues.
“I told two of my colleagues about this. One slammed Asit Modi while the other tried to protect me in front of him. Once Asit Modi said, ‘If you don't have a room partner at night, come and drink whiskey in my room. When things did not seem to go his way, he started giving me less screen space,” Jennifer said.
On the other hand, Asit Modi has already said that he would be taking legal action against Jennifer Mistry. He also said that the actress has made "baseless" allegations.
Show's project head Sohail Ramani and executive producer Jatin Bajaj have claimed that the actress misbehaved with everyone on the sets. They have also said that they terminated her contract because of her bad behaviour.
