Remember the time when Deepika Padukone received flak for speaking about seeing other men while dating Ranveer Singh? During her appearance on 'Koffee With Karan 8' with her husband Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone spoke candidly about her relationship with Ranveer Singh, and she admitted that when she started seeing the actor, she was casually seeing other people too, however, this all stopped once she got married to the 'Gully Boy' actor.

As soon as Deepika's comment surfaced, netizens started trolling the actress for seeing other men, while dating Ranveer Singh.

The controversy might have died down, but in the latest entertainment news, social media sensation, Uorfi Javed has now reacted to the same, and she has defended Deepika Padukone

"Deepika Padukone ka jo hua tha, she just said she was casually dating. Bandar jaisi shakal ke Deepika ko bol rahe hai tujhko me date nahi karunga. How do you get this confidence? Inko karwao imposter syndrome bhai, koi dawai ho toh dedu main inko," said Uorfi Javed, while speaking to social media sensation and actress Dolly Singh .

"You think Deepika ro degi, oh Manoj from Dilli will not date me with this mota sa tond leke, ab main kya karungi? Manoj aur uska tond mujhe date nahi karenge," she added.

Speaking further about it, Uorfi said, "Shaadi ho, na ho. Unke aapas ka sahi hai, who the f*** are we? I just felt it was very disrespectful, it was weird for me as well."

For the unversed, during their appearance on the talk show, Deepika and Ranveer opened up about the arrangement they had in the initial stages of their relationship.

“I wanted to be single for a while because I had come from difficult relationships. I was going through a phase where I said ‘I just don’t want to be attached, don’t want to be committed’. And I had fun. And then he comes along, so I didn’t ‘commit, commit’, until he proposed to me. There was no commitment as such. Even if we were technically allowed to see other people, we would just keep coming back to each other,” Deepika shared.

On the work front, Deepika Padukone was last seen in 'Fighter', alongside Hrithik Roshan and Anil Kapoor. The new Hindi film released on Netflix on Thursday.

Deepika Padukone will next be seen in Nag Ashwin's 'Kalki 2898 AD' and Rohit Shetty's 'Singham Again'.
