Bigg Boss OTT 2: Abhishek Malhan Defeats This Contestant To Become First Finalist
Abhishek Malhan has become the first finalist of Bigg Boss OTT 2.
The makers of 'Bigg Boss OTT 2' had recently come up with Family Week and there was a special twist. Each member had to give a star to another contestant who they felt did wonders in the show. Two housemates who then received the maximum stars were to then become contenders for becoming the first finalist of the show through another task. In the latest entertainment news, Pooja Bhatt got three stars while Abhishek Malhan got two.
Other contestants like Bebika Dhurve, Elvish Yadav and Avinash Sachdev received one star each.
On Wednesday, Bigg Boss introduced another task where both Abhishek and Pooja were given a basket. At intervals, some fruits were given to them on a slide and other contestants had to collect the same and offer it to the one they wanted as a finalist.
The first round of the task was called off after Avinash Sachdev and Abhishek Malhan got into a physical fight. Pooja Bhatt was unwell and hence she was asked to pick her representative and she chose Jad Hadid.
In the end, Abhishek Malhan ended up winning the task and hence he became the first finalist of the show.

Pooja Bhatt was then seen getting upset over her defeat and called Abhishek Malhan's strategy unfair.
During his visit in the show, Pooja Bhatt's father Mahesh Bhatt also told Pooja Bhatt that Alia Bhatt, Soni Razdan and her mother watch 'Bigg Boss OTT 2' and they all follow the show very fondly.
Talking about Ranbir Kapoor and Shaheen Bhatt, Mahesh Bhatt said: "Ranbir Kapoor doesn’t have time for all this and Shaheen Bhatt is intellectual so she doesn’t watch Bigg Boss."
Talking about nominations for this week, Jiya Shankar, Avinash Sachdev, Jad Hadid and Manisha Rani are in the danger zone while Bebika Dhurve, Pooja Bhatt, Abhishek Malhan and Elvish Yadav have secured a direct entry into the finale week.
Last week, Aashika Bhatia was evicted from the show. During the Weekend Ka Vaar episode, Salman Khan had blasted Bebika Dhurve and Elvish Yadav for their behaviour.
