This weekend you have plenty of options to choose from in terms of content, so it is fair to say that you are spoilt for choices. In the latest entertainment news, Emraan Hashmi's 'Showtime' has been released on Disney+ Hotstar, and Huma Qureshi's 'Maharani 3' premiered on SonyLiv on Thursday.

Showtime (Disney+ Hotstar)
The new Hindi web series is an epic saga of legacy and ambition in the world of cinema. The new Hindi web series tells it all on what goes behind the multi-million dollar industry of Bollywood. The series also talks about the dreaded word -- 'nepotism'. Created by Sumit Roy and directed by Mihir Desai and Archit Kumar, the show stars Emraan Hashmi, Mahima Makwana, Mouni Roy, Naseeruddin Shah, Rajeev Khandelwal and Shriya Saran. For the unversed, the new Hindi web series has been backed by Karan Johar.
Maharani 3 (SonyLiv)
The third season of the uber-popular political drama, starring Huma Qureshi, has released on SonyLiv. The eight-episode third season premiered on the streaming platform on Thursday. Apart from Huma Qureshi, the new Hindi web series stars Sohum Shah, Amit Sial, and Kani Kusruti. The new Hindi web series is partly inspired by several incidents that took place in Bihar in the 1990s when Lalu Prasad Yadav made his wife Rabri Devi his successor.
Mamla Legal Hai (Netflix)
This Netflix Hindi web series released last week. The plot revolves around the lawyers who are working at District Court Patparganj and the latest Hindi web series features a collection of jugaadu lawyers who keep coming across odd cases. The eight-episode series stars Ravi Kishan, Nidhi Bisht, Naila Grewal, and Anant Joshi.
Anweshippin Kandethum (Netflix)
This Malayalam film, starring Tovino Thomas in the lead role, premiered on Netflix on Friday. The movie revolves around two unrelated murder cases. The main police officer ends up resolving the cases, however, he is then unable to arrest the main culprits. Apart from Tovino Thomas, the film also stars Indrans, Siddique, Shammi Thilakan, Sadiq, Azees Nedumangad, and Baburaj.
Shogun (Disney+ Hotstar)
This series premiered on Disney+ Hotsyar with its first two episodes on February 27. New episodes drop every Tuesday and this is one series, that you definitely need to take out time for. The series tells the story of the collision of two ambitious men from different worlds and a mysterious woman samurai. 'Shogun' has been received very well from critics, and trust us, every minute of this show is just worth it.
