The second episode of Karan Johar's chat show 'Koffee With Karan 8' will see Sunny Deol making an appearance along with his brother Bobby Deol. The first promo of the episode was released on Monday, and Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol spoke about their careers and what lies ahead. Sunny Deol talked about the success of 'Gadar 2' while Bobby Deol spoke about his comeback, and how Salman Khan helped him out.
The promo opens with Karan Johar welcoming the Deol brothers on the show. He then gave a standing ovation for all the success the duo have had in recent months.
For the unversed, Sunny Deol's latest release 'Gadar 2' is the second-highest-grossing Hindi film of all time while Bobby Deol gained appreciation for his work in three seasons of the web series 'Aashram'.
In the promo, Karan Johar mentioned how Sunny Deol has repeatedly talked about 'Gadar 2' collections being "organic". “What does that really mean? Are we inflating box office numbers?” asked Karan.
Sunny Deol then said it was actually a trend to inflate box office collections. Karan Johar then asked him again, “Is that why the tagline on Gadar 2 was ‘Hindustan ka asli blockbuster’?”

In the promo, Bobby Deol then shared how Salman Khan had once said that he climbed on the back of Sunny Deol when his career was not doing well to move forward.
Bobby Deol then asked Salman to let him climb on his back.
On the work front, Sunny Deol was last seen in 'Gadar 2', and the movie collected more than Rs 524 crore in India, and it is currently the second-highest-grossing Hindi film of all time, only behind Shah Rukh Khan's 'Jawan'.
Talking about Bobby Deol, the actor will next be seen in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's 'Animal', which also stars Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, and Anil Kapoor. The movie will be releasing in theatres on December 1, 2023.
It is being rumoured that Bobby Deol might be playing a cannibal in 'Animal'.
