Recently, actress Alia Bhatt announced that she has come aboard Prime Video's crime drama miniseries 'Poacher' as an executive producer. In the latest entertainment news, the makers of the upcoming web series have unveiled an awareness video, featuring the National Award-winning actress. The video offers a glimpse into the world of 'Poacher' and its narrative. The 1-minute-21-second long video is set in a forest, and it begins by showing us a group of forest officers combing the area and it is then that Alia Bhatt enters the frame.
"Ashok ka murder subah 9 baje report hua, iss mahine ka teesra haadsa. His body was lifeless… mutilated," says Alia Bhatt.
"They might think they will get away with it. But they won’t. Sirf isliye ki Ashok hum main se ek nahi tha, ye crime chhotta nahi ho jata. Because murder is murder," she adds.

Alia Bhatt also shared the teaser on Instagram, and she captioned the post as, "I spent less than a day in the jungle to shoot this awareness video, but it still gave me chills. Murder is Murder… and I can’t wait for you to see the full story through the eyes of Richie Mehta and our stellar cast.”
For the unversed, the show has been created and directed by Emmy Award-winning show 'Delhi Crime’s maker Richie Mehta.
The show stars Nimisha Sajayan, Roshan Mathew, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, Kani Kusruti, Ranjitha Menon, and Maala Parvathi in key roles.
The new web series will be premiering on Amazon Prime Video on February 23, 2024.
On the work front, Alia Bhatt will next be seen in Vasan Bala's 'Jigra', which is being backed by Dharma Productions. She also has 'Love & War' in the pipeline, in which she will be sharing the screen with Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal. The movie will be directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
