Samantha Ruth Prabhu wrapped up shooting of the Indian version of ‘Citadel’ before taking a break from work to focus on her health.
Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition called Myositis last year, never fails to amaze her fans with her dedication towards physical and mental wellness. Recently, Samantha Ruth Prabhu wrapped up the shooting of the Indian installment of Russo Brothers’ web series, ‘Citadel’. Samantha, who is an avid social media and has over 28 million followers on Instagram, took to IG Stories to announce the shoot wrap along with a happy selfie. Along with the selfie, she wrote, “13th of July will always be a special special day. And it's a wrap on #CitadelIndia.”

Samantha also shared another picture on her Instagram account, which featured her flashing her million-dollar smile. She posed with Sita R Menon and ace filmmaker duo Raj and DK. Samantha Ruth Prabhu also thanked them in her post, while confirming the rumours of her taking a break as a part of her caption read, “A break doesn’t seem like a bad thing at all when you know what’s coming.”

Last week, there were confirmed reports about Samantha Ruth Prabhu planning to take a year-long break from work to focus on her health.
Samantha Ruth Prabhu recently also wrapped up the shoot of her upcoming film, ‘Kushi’, which will also star Vijay Deverakonda. The Telugu film is scheduled to release on September 1.
It will also release in Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. The Telugu movie also stars Jayaram, Sachin Khedakar, Murali Sharma, Lakshmi, Ali, Rohini, Vennela Kishore, Rahul Ramakrishna, Srikanth Iyengar and Saranya. The Telugu film is anticipated to be an inter-faith love story.
Coming back to ‘Citadel’, Samantha Ruth Prabhu will be seen doing some high-octane action in ‘Citadel’, which will also feature Varun Dhawan.
Filmmaker duo Raj and DK have directed the Indian version of the show.
Samantha Ruth Prabhu will soon work with ‘Downton Abbey’ director Philip John for a project titled ‘Arrangements Of Love’.
She recently starred in ‘Shaakuntalam’. Before that, the actress was seen in the 2022 thriller ‘Yashoda’.
