September 2023 is going to be a bumper month when it comes to OTT releases and there is a lot of engaging content coming your way. 'Scam 2003' will be telling the story of the biggest paper scam in the country, and it is a follow-up to one of the best shows India has ever produced -- 'Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story'. The month of September will also see Kareena Kapoor Khan's OTT debut as she will be starring in the Netflix-film 'Jaane Jaan' directed by Sujoy Ghosh.

Prime Video will have 'Bambai Meri Jaan' releasing on September 14, and this is a show backed by Farhan Akhtar's Excel Entertainment.

Scam 2003 - The Telgi Story

The series is a follow-up to the highly acclaimed show 'Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story'. The new series will be telling the story of Abdul Karim Telgi, who has been described as the man behind India's biggest stamp paper scam, worth Rs 30,000 crore. The new Hindi web series has been adapted from the Hindi book 'Reporter ki Diary' which was authored by journalist Sanjay Singh.

The Freelancer

The four-episode series has been directed by Neeraj Pandey, who is known for helming projects like 'Wednesday' and 'Special Ops'. The story of the show revolved around a character named Avinash Kamath played by Mohit Raina, and how he goes to rescue a young girl who is being held captive in Syria. The show is based on Shirish Thorat’s book, 'A Ticket to Syria'.

Haddi 

The movie stars awazuddin Siddiqui, Resh Lamba, Ila Arun, Mohd. Zeeshan Ayyub, Shriidhar Dubey, and Anurag Kashyap. This new Hindi film is a revenge saga of a transgender woman. The trailer of the film showed how Nawazuddin Siddiqui's character comes from Allahabad to Delhi to join a gang of transgenders. The group then avenges their family who was wronged by a gangster-turned-politician.

Bambai Meri Jaan

Featuring Kay Kay Menon, Avinash Tiwary, Kritika Kamra, and Nivedita Bhattacharya along with Amyra Dastur in pivotal roles, the fictional crime series is a gripping saga about a father and son who are two sides of the same coin. The series explores the classic, universal battle of good versus evil.  Set in the post-independence era, the story chronicles the life and rise of a young man, Dara Kadri (played by Tiwary), torn between his father’s law enforcement legacy (played by Menon) and his own journey into the heart of organized crime.

Kaala

The show has been directed by Bejoy Nambiar. The new Hindi series will follow the story of an Intelligence Bureau (IB) officer and a game of power in the murky world of Kaala. Avinash Tiwary, Rohan Vinod Mehra, Nivetha Pethuraj, Taher Shabbir, and Hiten Tejwani will all be a part of this show. It has been produced by Nambiar, along with T-Series’ Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar.

Jaane Jaan 

Kareena Kapoor Khan will be making her OTT debut with Sujoy Ghosh's film 'Jaane Jaan'. The OTT film also stars Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma. Not much has been divulged about the plot of the movie but Vijay Varma is playing a police officer in the film. The new Hindi movie is based in Kalimpong and is the official adaptation of the bestselling novel ‘Devotion of Suspect X’ by Keigo Higashino.
