Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao are currently gearing up for the release of their new Hindi movie 'Mr & Mrs Mahi'. The new Hindi movie is slated to be released in cinemas on May 31, 2024, and ahead of its theatrical release, both the actors have been trying their best to promote the movie, and create more awareness regarding their project. In the latest entertainment news, Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao will be making an appearance on Kapil Sharma's show 'The Great Indian Kapil Show'. On Wednesday morning, Netflix India has unveiled a promo for the upcoming episode, and going by the small clip, it looks like Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao had loads of fun.
The promo begins with Kapil Sharma introducing the audience to Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao. "Ye aapki saath me dusri film hai na. Yeh pehli film Roohi main bhoot bani hui thi, bhoot banke zada daraya inhone ya biwi banke zada dara rahi hai?" asked Kapil Sharma.
Kapil Sharma then was also seen teasing Janhvi Kapoor by using the name of his rumoured boyfriend, Shikhar Pahariya. "Janhvi, aap same interest wale life partner ko choose karna pasand karegi ya jiss 'Shikhar' par aap hain?" said Kapil.

This question prompted Janhvi Kapoor to blush. Kapil Sharma was also conducting an "swayamwar" for Janhvi Kapoor.
Coming back to 'Mr & Mrs Mahi', the new Hindi movie will be released in cinemas on Friday, May 31. Owing to Cinema Lovers Day, the audience can watch the movie for just Rs 99 on Friday.
As per Pinkvilla journalist Himesh Mankad, 'Mr & Mrs Mahi' has sold more than 15,000 tickets for the opening day, across three national cinema chains.

‘Mr & Mrs Mahi’ is backed by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta. The new Hindi movie marks the second collaboration of Janhvi and Rajkummar after the 2021 horror thriller 'Roohi'.
Apart from ‘Mr & Mrs Mahi’, Janhvi Kapoor will be seen in ‘Ulajh’, which will hit the theatres on July 5. She will also mark her Telugu debut with ‘Devara: Part 1’, co-starring Jr NTR and Saif Ali Khan.
On the other hand, Rajkummar Rao was last seen in 'Srikanth'. The movie is nearing the Rs 40 crore mark in India. The actor will also be seen in 'Stree 2', later this year.
