The fans of Virat Kohli and Shah Rukh Khan have already started a war of words.

Shah Rukh Khan and Virat Kohli are two of the most loved stars in India. One has earned loyal fans through his celebrated movies while the other is a legend of world cricket. There have been events in the past where SRK and Virat Kohli have interacted with each other, and both have had nice things to say. So, it comes as a surprise to us as well when we opened on Twitter on Tuesday and saw a big fan war between the supporters of SRK and King Kohli.

The latest edition of the world's premier T20 league -- IPL 2023 will begin on March 31 with the match between Hardik Pandya's Gujarat Titans and MS Dhoni's Chennai Super Kings.

Shah Rukh Khan's Kolkata Knight Riders and Virat Kohli's Royal Challengers Bangalore will square off against each other first on April 6 at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata and then both the teams will meet each other in the reverse fixture on April 26 at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.

Looks like, the fans of Shah Rukh Khan and Virat Kohli have already decided to start the war of words on Twitter.

Here are some of the reactions:

Most of the fans decided to take pot shots at either SRK or Kohli regarding their brand value or social media followers.

Last month, Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja were seen doing the hook step of 'Jhoome Jo Pathaan' during a Test match against Australia.

In the month of January this year, Shah Rukh Khan was doing an #AskSRK session on Twitter and it was then that he was asked about former India captain Virat Kohli.

When asked about Kohli, SRK wrote: "Awesome absolutely and I wish him the best always."

SRK gave a smash-hit in the form of 'Pathaan' and he will next be seen in 'Jawan' and 'Dunki' this year.

Virat Kohli will next represent RCB in IPL 2023, and then he will be a part of India's squad for the World Test Championship final against Australia.

SRK, who owns KKR, has seen his team winning the IPL twice (2012 and 2014) while RCB are yet to lift the trophy.
