Horror genre is a fan favourite and there is a wide audience for the chills and thrills. You would be surprised to know that India is one of the biggest target audience when it comes to horror movies, hence it is no surprise that films like 'Conjuring', 'IT', 'Evil Dead Rise', 'Get Out', and others have done so well in the country at the box office. Even a mediocre Hollywood horror film manages to do respectable business at the Indian box office. Over the years, even Bollywood has come up with several horror movies. Well, who can forget Bipasha Basu and Dino Morea-starrer 'Raaz' or Ram Gopal Varma's 'Bhoot'. These movies gave us chills and we still get nightmares in our dreams, thinking about these movies. 

However, horror genre is not easy to crack, and sometimes these movies end up becoming unintentionally funny. Some Bollywood horror movies are so bad, that they are good. 

These bad horror movies do not give you the chills, but rather they make you laugh out loud, which even a comedy film cannot do. In this article, we will be talking about some of the unintentionally funny Bollywood horror movies, which you should check out with your friends to have a good laugh.

Jaani Dushman: Ek Anokhi Kahani (2002)

This movie has possibly one of the biggest star cast of all time, and you will never know how come so many stars decided to sign on for a project that seemed like a train wreck from the get go. The plot is astounding, and even a genuis would not be able to crack the code. Armaan Kohli plays a shape-shifting snake in the film, who is on a mission to avenge his old lover's death (Manisha Koirala). The movie also stars Suniel Shetty, Akshay Kumar, Sonu Nigam, Sunny Deol, Arshad Warsi, Aftab Shivdasani, Raj Babbar and Aditya Pancholi. 

Vaastu Shastra (2004)

Ram Gopal Varma has given us several memorable horror movies, but towards the backend of his career, he was also guilty of producing and backing some really poor horror content. However, they were definitely high on laughter. The movie stars Peeya Rai Chowdhary, Sushmita Sen, and JD Chakravarthy. We cannot tell you anything about the plot, else the fun would be spoilt. 

Ragini MMS 2 (2014)

This erotic horror film, starring Sunny Leone and Saahil Prem is truly bizarre. Every plot point is funny, and by the time the movie finishes, you will feel like that you lost some hours of your life. This movie began the trend of erotic horror movies. Just imagine the love for horror that despite being panned by critics, and having an IMDb rating of 3.9, 'Ragini MMS 2' turned out to be one of the most successful movies of 2014. 

Pizza (2014)

This film stars Akshay Oberoi, Parvathy Omanakuttan and Dipannita Sharma and it has been directed by Akshay Akkineni. The entire plot is laughable, and by the time, the movie finishes, you will be left scratching your head on what you just watched. The movie also stars Arunoday Singh, Rajesh Sharma and Hussain Dalal. 

Alone (2015)

Starring Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover, this movie will make you crack up every second. The movie Bipasha Basu playing the roles of Sanjana and Anjana (twin sisters). The cojoined sisters vow to never leave each other but as soon as Sanjana ends up falling in love with Kabir, she demands to be separated from her sister. This leads to a bizarre chain of events.
