Bollywood’s legendary trio, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, and Salman Khan, have defined Hindi cinema for decades, ruling the silver screen with unmatched stardom. While their box office showdowns have often made headlines, there’s a deep mutual respect that binds them off-screen. This camaraderie was once again on display at the Bollywood Hungama Style Icons Summit & Awards 2025, where Aamir shared his admiration for his fellow Khans. During a conversation at the event, Aamir revealed his all-time favourite performances by Salman and Shah Rukh.

Aamir said, “My favourite performance of Salman’s is Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Dabangg.”

As for SRK, he confessed a soft spot for ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’ and called ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ one of his all-time favourite films. Interestingly, Aamir admitted he hasn’t yet watched Shah Rukh’s recent action-packed hits ‘Pathaan’ and ‘Jawan’.

Fans have been loving the rare moments of the three superstars together, and Aamir’s birthday bash earlier this year served one such occasion. Shah Rukh made a quiet entrance, shielding his face from paparazzi, while Salman arrived in style, flanked by heavy security. The reunion only intensified fan hopes of the three finally sharing screen space.

Last year, Aamir himself had teased the possibility during an appearance on ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’. He mentioned recently meeting both SRK and Salman and confessed that after so many years in the industry, it would be unfair to audiences if they didn’t do at least one film together. He also revealed that the trio has spoken about teaming up and are waiting for the right story – ideally one pitched by a capable filmmaker – to bring this dream collaboration to life.

Meanwhile, Aamir is gearing up for the release of ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’, a sports comedy-drama directed by R.S. Prasanna. Co-starring Genelia Deshmukh, the film is set for a theatrical release on June 20.

Salman Khan, on the other hand, has an action drama with Sanjay Dutt in the works, along with the much-anticipated ‘Kick 2’.

Shah Rukh Khan, who returned to box office glory with ‘Pathaan’ and ‘Jawan’, is currently filming ‘King’, a high-octane thriller directed by Siddharth Anand. The project has generated buzz not just for its genre but also for its reported star-studded cast, which includes Suhana Khan, Rani Mukerji, Abhishek Bachchan, and Deepika Padukone – though an official announcement is still awaited.
