Abhishek Bachchan Lauds “Veerey” Vicky Kaushal’s Performance In ‘Sam Bahadur’
Abhishek Bachchan, who has worked with Vicky Kaushal in ‘Manmarziyaan’, praised the latter’s performance in ‘Sam Bahadur’, following a special screening.
Vicky Kaushal, who delivered a hit in the form of ‘Zara Hatke Zara Bachke’ in 2023, will be next seen in the upcoming Hindi movie ‘Sam Bahadur’. Directed by Meghna Gulzar, the new Hindi movie also stars Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh. ‘Sam Bahadur’, based on the life of India’s first Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw, had a special screening in Mumbai on Wednesday. The film is said to be a tribute to Sam Manekshaw and his contribution to the Indian army. And looks like Vicky Kaushal’s performance in the film has impressed the celebrities who watched it.
Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan was among the many stars who attended the screening of ‘Sam Bahadur’. He took to X (formerly Twitter) to laud the team of the film.
Abhishek Bachchan, who has worked with Vicky Kaushal in the 2018 Bollywood movie ‘Manmarziyaan’, also praised the actor for setting “the bar so high”.

‘Sam Bahadur’ marks Vicky Kaushal’s reunion with his ‘Raazi’ director Meghna Gulzar. Vicky Kaushal is playing the role of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw in the film.
Fatima Sana Shaikh will be essaying the role of former Indian Prime Minister, Indira Gandhi, while Sanya Malhotra is portraying the role of Sam Manekshaw's wife Silo.
For the unversed, Sam Manekshaw was the first Indian Army officer to have been promoted to the rank of Field Marshal. He is also credited for India's victory over Pakistan in the 1971 war, which led to the formation of Bangladesh.
'Sam Bahadur' also stars Neeraj Kabi and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub as Jawaharlal Nehru and Yahya Khan.
The new Hindi movie will be releasing in theatres on December 1, and it will be going up against Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Animal’, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna and Triptii Dimri.
