Fan Trolls Aishwarya Rai For Cropping Jaya, Navya And Agastya Out Of Aaradhya’s Pic With Amitabh
Aishwarya Rai has shared a cropped picture of Amitabh Bachchan and her daughter Aaradhya, a day after his 81st birthday.
Social media has given public personalities the power to directly interact with millions of their fans with just a push of a button. Something that was unthinkable in the good old days of newspapers and magazines. But with this new power comes many risks. One of the biggest, is being subjected to social media trolling. Nowadays, it has become rather easy and fashionable for these keyboard warriors to write ill about celebrities. Whether or not the celebrity has done anything wrong, has little to no bearing. Trolls don’t troll for a reason, it’s just in their nature to do so and one such incident took place when Aishwarya Rai Bachchan decided to put out a post on Instagram on her father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan’s birthday.
Aishwarya Rai was a tad bit late (one day) to put out a post for her father-in-law, but that is her business. One Instagram user did point out that her wish didn’t seem to genuine but another user went a step further and called out the actress for cropping out other members of the family from the picture.
“The wishes seem so plastic. wonder how celebrities with all the privacy in the world have friction in families,” commented Instagram user Usha Shetty on Aishwarya’s pic.
“Why did you have to crop the other kids (Navya & Agastya) from the publicly available photo. If you wanted to post just Aradhaya & Big B photo you could have used another one. It’s really tasteless!” read a comment from an Instagram account by the name of Star Nama.
One Aishwarya Rai fan even thanked the actress for “cropping those unnecessary people”.
Now, a little background would do us all some good. On Wednesday, Amitabh Bachchan celebrated his 81st birthday. To mark the occasion, his granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda, took to Instagram stories to wish him.
The post was a picture of Amitabh Bachchan with his wife Jaya and the grandkids (Navya, Agastya and Aaradhya) with the text “Happy Birthday Nana” at the top.

Now, why Aishwarya cropped the others is anybody’s guess, but to be calling her “tasteless” without truly knowing the reason, is also being presumptuous.
On the work front, Aishwarya Rai was recently seen dazzling in a golden gown as she walked the ramp at the Paris Fashion Week. Several photos and videos from the Paris Fashion Week had gone viral on social media.
