Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar And Arjun Kapoor celebrated 10 years of ‘2 States’ with heart-warming posts.

Alia Bhatt and Arjun Kapoor’s ‘2 States’, directed by Abhishek Varman, was released in cinemas in April 18, 2014. The Bollywood movie, based on Chetan Bhagat's best-selling novel of the same name, is easily one of the best romantic comedy-drama movies to come out of India. The movie, produced by Karan Johar and Sajid Nadiadwala, explored the challenges and joys of intercultural relationships in modern India. With a relatable storyline, the film struck a chord with audiences by blending humour, drama, and romance seamlessly.

It followed the love story of Krish Malhotra (Arjun Kapoor), a Punjabi boy, and Ananya Swaminathan (Alia Bhatt), a Tamil girl, as they navigate the complexities of their cultural differences and parental expectations while making their careers.

As ‘2 States’ completed 10 years of release today, Arjun Kapoor shared a heart-warming video dedicated to the 2014 Hindi movie. Sharing the post, he wrote, “10 years, countless emotions.”

Talking about the impact of the film, Arjun Kapoor continued, “Nothing greater when the impact of cinema translates into everyday life.”

He extended his gratitude, saying, “I’m so so grateful to be part of this very special film and beyond grateful to everyone who has been a part of this journey.”
