Apart from ‘RRKPK’, Alia Bhatt also made her Hollywood debut this year with Netflix’s ‘Heart of Stone’. Amid all the professional highs, Alia Bhatt also made headlines for her personal life. Amid all this, Alia Bhatt now revealed that the best gift she ever received was from Ranbir Kapoor while they were shooting for ‘Brahmastra’.
In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Alia Bhatt said Ranbir flew down her favourite cake from London to Bulgaria as a gift for her when they were filming the Ayan Mukerji directorial. The video of Alia Bhatt talking about Ranbir’s sweet gesture has gone viral on social media.

Alia Bhatt said she was so happy with the gift that she didn’t share the cake with anyone, not even Ranbir.
“The best gift I have gotten was from my husband, he was my boyfriend at that point of time. We were shooting a movie in Bulgaria and there is this particular cake that I am obsessed with in London from a cafe called Leto. It’s a milk cake.
“He flew the cake down from London to Bulgaria so I could cut it on my birthday and eat it for two days! I literally did not share it, not even with him, I didn’t share it with anyone,” Alia said and started laughing.
For the unversed, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor fell in love while filming ‘Brahmastra’, which released in 2022. The film, also starring Mouni Roy and Amitabh Bachchan, marked Alia and Ranbir’s first on-screen appearance.
Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor also tied the knot last year and became parents to a baby girl, Raha.
Talking about the lipstick controversy, Alia Bhatt shared that she likes to wipe the lipstick off her lips because she wants the faded, minimal look. She said, “I rub it off because one thing my husband…when he wasn't my husband but when he was my boyfriend as well… he would be like ‘wipe that off, wipe that off’ because he loves the natural colour of my lips.”
This specific bit from the video went viral on social media where many people called Ranbir’s behaviour a “red flag”.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Ranbir and Alia were rumoured to star in filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari’s ambitious ‘Ramayana’ adaptation. However, there has been no update on the status of the project.
Ranbir Kapoor will be next seen in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Animal’, gearing up for a December release.
