The upcoming film is a sequel to their 2001 blockbuster 'Gadar'. Helmed by Anil Sharma, 'Gadar' is a period-action drama set in 1947, around the partition of India and Pakistan.
'Gadar 2' is scheduled to release in theatres on August 11, 2023. It will mark Ameesha Patel’s first role since 2018’s ‘Bhaiaji Superhit’.
Ameesha Patel will also have a cameo in ‘Mystery of Tattoo’.
