For the unversed, several media reports stated Big B was hospitalised at Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai and he also underwent angioplasty. After the news started doing the rounds on social media, fans of the megastar were left concerned, and they were seen wishing for the speedy recovery of the actor.
In the latest entertainment news, Amitabh Bachchan along with his son Abhishek attended the final of the Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) on Friday evening, and when he was making his way out of the stadium, a reporter asked him about his health.
At first, Big B joined his hands to indicate that everything was fine, and later he verbally said, "Fake news."

On Friday afternoon, several reports stated that Big B underwent angioplasty, however the reason for the same was reported differently. Some mentioned a blockage in his leg while others cited a blocked artery.
For the unversed, the Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) final was played between Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan-owned Majhi Mumbai and Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan-owned Tiigers of Kolkata. The summit clash was eventually won by the Tiigers of Kolkata.
After the game came to an end, Amitabh Bachchan on Instagram shared a picture with his son Abhishek Bachchan and former India cricket captain, Sachin Tendulkar. He wrote, "What a humbling experience t his evening at the ISPL FINALS ,to have spent time with the GREAT SACHIN .. and to learn and admire his incredible knowledge about Cricket."
After the win, Kareena wrote on Instagram, "Our team @tiigersofkolkata have roared their way to victory… What an outstanding performance. Seizing the first-ever Indian street premiere league championship @ispl_t10. Hats off to our entire team."

On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan was last seen in Vikas Bahl's 'Ganapath', which also stars Kriti Sanon and Tiger Shroff. The movie had tanked miserably at the box office.
He will next be seen in Nag Ashwin's 'Kalki 2898 AD', which also stars Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan and Disha Patani. The film is slated to release in cinemas on May 9, 2024.
