Amitabh Bachchan Turns On Boss Mode, Gives Befitting Reply To Troll Saying “Buddha Sathiya Gaya Hai”
Amitabh Bachchan shut down some users for trolling him about his cybercrime awareness caller tune.
Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan, known for his impeccable acting performances and towering presence, is a regular user of micro-blogging platform X (formerly Twitter). While he usually maintains a dignified silence in the face of online trolling, the Bollywood megastar recently surprised fans with a sassier, more outspoken avatar. Over the past few days, Big B has been dishing out witty comebacks to critics, proving he’s not one to back down quietly. Most recently, he shut down users who mocked him over the long-running cybercrime awareness caller tune that features his voice.
For the unversed, Amitabh Bachchan lent his voice to a cybercrime awareness initiative aimed at educating the public about digital safety. The caller tune usually plays before any phone calls connect.
On Monday, Amitabh Bachchan took to X to share a random post, saying, “Ji haan huzoor, main bhi ek prashansak hoon. Toh??”
To this, a user replied, “Toh phone pe bolna band kro bhai.” It was then that Big B showed that he was in no mood to take this rude comment. Replying to the user, Big B wrote, “Sarkar ko bolo bhai, unhone jo kaha humne kar diya.”
Replying to another user who wrote, “Buddha sathiya gaya hai,” Big B commented, “Ek din, Bhagwan naa kare voh din jaldi aaye, jab aap bhi sathiya jaay.”
One user accused Amitabh Bachchan of smoking weed. Hitting back at the troll, the veteran actor wrote, “Only someone high on weed could write the way you just did.”
Another X user called out the actor for showing attitude and wrote, “Use some logic, even a calculator doesn't show this much attitude! Or else, my heart had accepted you, but the brain is saying – ‘System Error: Too Much Overthinking Detected!’”
Replying to the user, Big B wrote, “Even your calculator is saying the same thing about you – overthinking!!!”
Meanwhile, on the work front, the veteran actor was last seen in ‘Vettaiyan’ (2024), a Tamil action drama headlined by Rajinikanth and directed by TJ Gnanavel. Despite a star-studded cast that included Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, and others, the film underperformed at the box office and didn’t recover its budget.
Looking ahead, Amitabh Bachchan remains busy. He’s slated to appear in the sequel to Nag Ashwin's ‘Kalki 2898 AD’. His portrayal of Ashwatthama in ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ earned significant praise, and the sequel is set to begin filming in December.
Big B also has ‘Section 84’ and ‘Brahmastra Part 2: Dev’ in the pipeline. He’s also expected to return to host another season of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ on Sony TV later this year.
