'Kaun Banega Crorepati 15': Amitabh Bachchan shared an interesting anecdote about Shah Rukh Khan and his wife Gauri Khan.
'Kaun Banega Crorepati 15' was launched earlier this week and Amitabh Bachchan is back as the host. On the episode, which aired on Wednesday, Big B welcomed a contestant named Kapil Dev. Amitabh Bachchan had a free-wheeling chat with him, and he discussed his bearded look. The 'Don' actor also shared an interesting anecdote about Shah Rukh Khan and his wife Gauri Khan. A question was posed to Kapil, and it required him to answer whose wife is the author of the book 'My Life in Design'.
The options given to him were: Sachin Tendulkar, Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar and Chetan Bhagat.
He picked the right answer, and it was then that Amitabh Bachchan spoke about Gauri Khan's new book and shared it chronicles her journey as a designer.
Amitabh Bachchan then shared that he was recently shooting with SRK, and was left quite impressed by his vanity van. The actor shared that it had TV, chairs, sliding doors, space for makeup and even a bathroom.
“Shah Rukh told me that Gauri has designed it. He even said that I would ask her to design one for you. Par abtak aayi nahi hai," said Amitabh Bachchan.
When the contestant asked Amitabh Bachchan how he maintains his beard, the superstar said: "I was made to maintain my beard like this. I saw myself in the mirror and liked this style. And ever since, I have kept this beard. Also, as you age, there are a lot of things that add to your face like a double chin, and wrinkles. I realised it helps hide the double chin and also keeps me wrinkle-free. So I continued with this style, and trim it from time to time.”
The contestant named Kapil Dev won Rs 70,000 in the Super Sandook round.
Till now, he has won Rs 12,50,000 on the episode, and he will be the roll-over contestant in the episode which will air on Thursday.
