December 1 will witness an epic box office clash as two promising new Hindi movies will be battling it out. Ranbir Kapoor's 'Animal' directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Vicky Kaushal's 'Sam Bahadur', directed by Meghna Gulzar, are all set to entertain the audiences from this Friday. The initial trends indicate that 'Animal’ is going to make a flying start at the box office, however, the industry is hopeful of both movies achieving success amidst a clash. In the latest Bollywood movie news, actor Suniel Shetty took to his social media to wish 'Animal' and 'Sam Bahadur' good luck, and he said that he is hopeful of witnessing a "super-duper" Friday.

Sending a tidal wave of good vibes and wishes to both stellar casts for an EPIC run at the box office! Talking about 'Animal', the film, which also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, and Bobby Deol, has so far sold 5,56,915 tickets, across India for Day 1. The movie has already grossed Rs 15.19 crore.
The advance ticket sales of 'Animal' is being dominated by Delhi-NCR region. ‘Animal’ is expected to deliver the biggest opening of Ranbir Kapoor’s career, with current projections targeting Rs 50 crore on Day 1.
Speaking of 'Sam Bahadur', the film has sold just a little above 44,000 tickets. For the unversed, 'Sam Bahadur' is based on the life of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw, and the film also stars Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra.
Currently, the record of most advance ticket sales is held by Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Jawan’ as it had sold over 5.57 lakh tickets for the first day. SRK's ‘Pathaan’ is at the second spot with 5.56 lakh ticket sales.
Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff-starrer ‘War’ (4.04 lakh tickets) is at the third spot, and it is followed by Aamir Khan's ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ (3.46 lakh tickets), and Salman Khan's ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ (3.4 lakh tickets).
Speaking of Ranbir Kapoor, his biggest hit till date is Rajkumar Hirani's ‘Sanju’ as it grossed nearly Rs 600 crore worldwide.
