“Was Constantly Dragging...”: Event Manager On Aditya Narayan Throwing Fan’s Phone At Concert
Aditya Narayan was recently seen hitting a fan, snatching and throwing away his phone. Now, the event manager has broken his silence on the controversy.
Singer and television host Aditya Narayan recently faced the wrath of netizens after a video went viral, which showed him misbehaving with a fan during a concert. For the unversed, the video in question showed Aditya Narayan hitting a fan. He also snatched and threw away the concertgoer’s phone in the crowd while he performed at Rungta College in Bhilai, Chhattisgarh, a few days back. The video is still being shared widely on social media, and fans are slamming the singer for such unruly behaviour.
However, now the event manager has broken his silence on the matter, saying that the man involved was not a student. The event manager also said that the singer lost his cool after his feet were being dragged.
“That boy was not even a college student, he must be someone from outside the college. He was constantly dragging Aditya's feet nonstop. He was very irritating. He banged his phone on Aditya's feet multiple times. After that only did, he lost his cool. He must have taken almost 200 selfies with this student. The whole concert went smooth apart from this. After this incident, the show went on for almost two hours. If the student was right, he would have had come forward,” the event manager told Zoom.
“Even Darshan Rawal stopped doing such college events because these kinds of activities keep happening in every city. People don't know the truth behind everything. You just see one side. He kept continuously hitting and dragging Aditya, what if he had fallen down? If this boy was right, he would have come forward and told the college authorities that this has happened to him. I have been connected with the college since many years and they haven't had a good concert like this one ever. They have said so themselves,” the event manager said further.
For the unversed, in the video, Aditya Narayan was seen singing ‘Aaj Ki Raat’ from the 2006 Hindi movie ‘Don’, starring Shah Rukh Khan.
As Aditya Narayan performed on stage, he looked at a fan in the audience, and then snatched the person's phone from his hands. After that, Aditya Narayan ended up throwing it away into the crowd.

This is not the first time that Aditya Narayan has made headlines owing to his behaviour. A video went viral in 2017 that showed a verbal spat between the singer and an airport staff at the Raipur airport.
“Teri chaddi nahi utari na, to mera naam Aditya Narayan nahi,” he was heard threatening the airport staff.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Aditya Narayan is currently hosting ‘Indian Idol 14’.
