Is there a sequel on the cards for 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara'?
'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara', starring Hrithik Roshan, Abhay Deol, and Farhan Akhtar, released 12 years ago, and the Zoya Akhtar-directorial is still viewed as one of the best movies on friendship to come out of Bollywood. For the unversed, the movie was shot mostly in Spain, and upon its release, the movie had received appreciation from both critics and audiences. The plot of the movie revolved around three friends -- Arjun (Hrithik Roshan), Kabir (Abhay Deol) and Imraan (Farhan Akhtar), and how they go on a road trip across Spain.
For a long time now, fans have been asking for a sequel to 'ZNMD', and it looks like, something is definitely cooking.
Farhan Akhtar's recent social media post, has left 'ZNMD' fans asking for more. Sharing a selfie resembling Imraan's look from the film, Farhan Akhtar wrote, "The Imraan look comes full circle. What say @zoieakhtar ..? Should the Bwoys head on another road trip."
Hrithik Roshan, who played the role of Arjun in the film, then commented, "Lesssss goooooo!!!!"
Abhay Deol also jumped in, and commented, "I’ve had my #bagwati packed since 2012, what’s keeping you guys?”

In the comments section, Zoya Akhtar commented, "My Bagwati is packed."
Quoting Imraan from 'ZNMD, the handle of Netflix India commented, "Insaan ka kartavya hota hai ek road trip plan karna."
As of now, nothing official has been announced yet. Excel Entertainment's 'Jee Le Zaraa', which was touted to be a road-trip movie featuring Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra, and Katrina Kaif, has been put on hold as of now.
“We just have issues with dates, and the actor’s strike that’s happened has put Priyanka’s dates into a huge tizzy with what can happen and what can’t, so I’ve started genuinely believing that that film now has a destiny of its own. It’ll happen when it has to, we’ll see,” Farhan Akhtar had told Variety.
For the unversed, apart from Farhan, Hrithik and Abhay, 'ZNMD' also starred Katrina Kaif, Kalki Koechlin, Naseeruddin Shah and Deepti Naval in key roles.
The songs were composed by Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy trio.
