Who can forget the camaraderie between Hrithik Roshan, Farhan Akhtar and Abhay Deol in 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara'? Over the years, the film has achieved a cult status and fans have been asking for a sequel. The trio recently appeared together in an advertisement. And the clip saw Hrithik, Farhan and Abhay recreating some fun moments from the Zoya Akhtar directorial. The pink phone also made an appearance and Hrithik playfully tossed Farhan's phone this time, finally getting his revenge after 13 years.
The trio collaborated for a campaign for Yas Island, titled, ‘Zindagi Ko Yas Bol’. In the clip, the three actors can first be seen getting inside a car to drive off to their destination.
Farhan Akhtar then answers a phone call and Hrithik takes the phone from him to throw it away. It is a spin to the famous scene from the film, which showed Farhan’s character Imran throwing away Arjun’s (Hrithik) phone after he took a work call during their holiday in Spain.
“The bwoys are back – but this time they are saying Yas to new challenges on #YasIsland,” the caption, alongside the video posted by Yas Island's Instagram handle, read.

‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ truly remains a beloved film in Bollywood, celebrated for its heartfelt message, relatable characters and catchy dialogues. And we would definitely love a sequel to it!
Director Zoya Akhtar has often been asked about the sequel to ‘ZNMD’. Speaking to news agency ANI, Zoya had said, “Yes, this comes up all the time, and everybody is interested.”
“That movie meant a lot to us. So, if we find that soul for part two, we will make it. We don't want to do it just for money. When the audience comes to watch the second part, they will have a certain expectation, and we must give it to them; otherwise, they won't be happy,” she added.
In 2021, Farhan Akhtar had announced another travel and friendship film ‘Jee Le Zaraa’, featuring actresses Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt. However, the film is yet to go on floors.
