Fawad Khan Finally Making His Bollywood Comeback? Here’s What We Know
Fawad Khan is reportedly all set to return to Hindi films with a new project, in which he will star alongside Vaani Kapoor.
Fawad Khan, a popular Pakistani actor and singer, made his Bollywood debut in 2014 with ‘Khoobsurat’, in which he co-starred with Sonam Kapoor Ahuja. His performance as the charming and sophisticated Prince Vikram Singh Rathore was well-received, earning him the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. Following ‘Khoobsurat’, Fawad Khan featured in the 2016 Hindi movie ‘Kapoor & Sons’, co-starring Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra. He later appeared in the 2016 Bollywood movie ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’, which starred Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma in the lead roles.
Fans have been eagerly hoping for Fawad Khan to return to Hindi films, and now it looks like their wait is about to end. Filmfare has reported that Fawad Khan is set to collaborate with Vaani Kapoor for a new Hindi project.
According to the Filmfare report, Fawad Khan will be returning to Bollywood after a gap of eight years. As per the portal, the film is scheduled to go on floors soon.
“Right now, the pre-production of the project is locked in,” Filmfare quoted a source as saying.
The filming will reportedly begin in London. More details about the movie have not been revealed yet.
Currently, Fawad Khan is gearing up for the release of his series ‘Barzakh’, which is a tale about love and loss. It will reunite Fawad Khan with his ‘Zindagi Gulzar Hai’ co-star Sanam Saeed. Set to release on July 19, this series will premiere on Zee Zindagi.
Meanwhile, Vaani Kapoor is looking forward to the release of ‘Khel Khel Mein’, which arrives on August 15, 2024. Directed by Mudassar Aziz, the film also stars Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu, Fardeen Khan, Ammy Virk, Pragya Jaiswal, and Aditya Seal.
Vaani Kapoor will also be seen playing the female lead in Ajay Devgn’s ‘Raid 2’.
