'Gadar 2' Director Anil Sharma Reacts To Ameesha Patel's Allegations Of Mismanagement On Sets
Anil Sharma has addressed Ameesha Patel's allegations of mismanagement on the sets of 'Gadar 2'.
Actress Ameesha Patel will be making a return to the big screen with her upcoming movie 'Gadar 2' also starring Sunny Deol. As the film gears up for a release on August 11, Ameesha Patel started making news after she made allegations against Anil Sharma and his production house regarding mismanagement and non-payment of dues. In the latest entertainment news, the filmmaker has addressed this accusation, saying he has no clue why the actress said such things. He also thanked Ameesha Patel for making his production house famous.
"I have no clue why she said all of this. All I would like to say is that this is all false, none of it is true. At the same time, I would like to thank Ameesha Patel. She made my production house famous. What can be bigger than this? I thank her for making our new production house famous," Anil Sharma told Dainik Bhaskar.
It was on June 30, when Ameesha Patel in a series of tweets, alleged that Anil Sharma Productions had not provided proper salary to technicians, makeup artists, and costume designers associated with 'Gadar 2'.
She also stated unpaid bills for accommodation, transportation, and food. Ameesha Patel then said it was Zee Studios that intervened to help in settling the dues and resolving the issues caused by Anil Sharma's production house.
"There were certain queries that many technicians like make-up artists, costume designers n others etc did not receive their rightful remuneration and dues from ANIL SHARMA PRODUCTIONS!!Yes they did not !! But @ZeeStudios_ stepped in and made sure all dues were settled as they are a v professional company," Ameesha tweeted.

Anil Sharma had previously directed 2001 film 'Gadar: Ek Prem Katha', and he is also directing the upcoming 'Gadar 2'.
In the new Hindi movie, Sunny Deol will reprise his role as Tara Singh and Ameesha Patel would be playing the role of his wife named Sakina.
