Vicky Kaushal has opened up about the time when he told his family about dating his now wife, actress Katrina Kaif.
Actor Vicky Kaushal is currently promoting his upcoming movie 'The Great Indian Family', which will be releasing in theatres on September 22. In the latest entertainment news, the 'Zara Hatke Zara Bachke' actor has opened up about the time when he told his family about dating his now wife, actress Katrina Kaif. In an interview with Radio City India, Vicky Kaushal was asked who was the first to know at his home about him dating 'Namastey London' actress Katrina Kaif. “The first ones to know at home were my mother and father," said Vicky Kaushal, as reported by The Indian Express.
When the host asked Vicky Kausal if his parents learnt about him dating Katrina Kaif through Viral Bhayani, he said: "Bhai aise toh din nahi aaye ki Viral se pata lage."
For the unversed, Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif had gotten married in 2021. When he was asked about whether there is someone in his family who is pressuring them for "good news," here's what Vicky Kaushal had to say.
"Koi bhi nahi daal raha. Vaise bade cool hain," said Vicky Kaushal.
Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif are yet to work together for a film.
When he was asked about the possibility of working together, Vicky had told Yuvaa YouTube channel: "I told her that on set, there will be two directors for me because one director on set and then one director would be there who would come home and say that this was not right and this was wrong and it should be like this and like that.”
The ‘Zara Hatke Zara Backe’ actor also revealed that he didn’t ask out Katrina Kaif in a fancy manner. He shared that it was as simple as, “Can I take you out for dinner?”
At times when Vicky Kaushal cannot believe he is getting all the love from Katrina Kaif and thinks, ‘Ye kya ho raha hai?’, he asks her why she loves him. Katrina Kaif says, “I just feel like you have a set of values which I admire and you are stubborn for those values. You protect those values. So, I like that about you.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Vicky Kaushal is gearing up for the release of ‘The Great Indian Family’ and ‘Sam Bahadur’. Katrina Kaif is looking forward to the release of ‘Tiger 3’, co-starring Salman Khan.
