Karan Johar's Deadly Response On Being Asked "You Are Gay, Right?"
Karan Johar conducted an AMA session on Threads App, and it was then that a user asked him about his sexuality.
Filmmaker Karan Johar recently joined the newly launched Threads app, and he also engaged with his followers as he conducted an AMA (Ask Me Anything) session. During the activity, Karan Johar answered a wide range of questions, including queries about a potential collaboration between Dharma Productions and Shah Rukh Khan. During the session, one user asked the director: "You are gay, right?", and displaying his wit, Karan Johar replied: "You’re interested?”
When one user asked him about his biggest regret, the filmmaker said: "I never got to work with and direct my favourite actor Sridevi ma’am.”
While replying to a question on potential collaboration between Dharma Productions and SRK, Karan said: "Ask me no secrets will tell you no lies.”
Talking about Threads app, many Bollywood celebrities such as Parineeti Chopra, Diljit Dosanjh, Tamannaah Bhatia, Vijay Varma, Kajol, Sunny Leone, Mrunal Thakur, Riteish Deshmukh and Madhuri Dixit have already joined the platform.
Karan Johar's next directorial project 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani' will be releasing in theatres on July 28.
The new Hindi movie stars Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi in lead roles.
'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani' is Karan Johar's first directorial since 2016's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. In the interim period, he had helmed two short films for the Netflix anthologies 'Lust Stories' and 'Ghost Stories'.
Ranveer Singh was last seen in 2022 film 'Cirkus' while Alia Bhatt was last seen in 'Brahmastra: Part One Shiva'.
Alia Bhatt will also be starring in Netflix film 'Heart of Stone' which also has Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan as a part of its star cast.
