"Beti Ko Pata Nahi...": Suhana Khan Wrongly Answers If Father SRK Has Won Padma Shri, Amitabh Bachchan Shocked
Amitabh Bachchan was left shocked to hear Suhana Khan give the wrong answer about a question regarding Shah Rukh Khan's achievements.
Suhana Khan, the daughter of Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan, recently made her acting debut with 'The Archies', directed by Zoya Akhtar. For the unversed, the new Hindi movie also marks the acting debut of Amitabh Bachchan's grandson Agastya Nanda and Boney Kapoor and late Sridevi's daughter Khushi Kapoor. In the latest entertainment news, the entire star cast of 'The Archies' -- Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor, Dot, Agastya Nanda, Yuvraj Menda, Mihir Ahuja and Vedang Raina promoted their latest release on the Amitabh Bachchan-hosted game show 'Kaun Banega Crorepati 15'.
During the episode, Amitabh Bachchan was left bemused when Suhana Khan was clueless about one of the greatest honours -- Padmi Shri -- her father, SRK had received in 2005.
On the episode, Big B asked Suhana, Vedang and Zoya a question about SRK during the ‘Super Sandook’ round.
The question was: “Shah Rukh Khan has not yet received which of these honours?” The options given were: “(a) Padma Shri, (b) Legion of Honour, (c), L’Etoile d’Or and (d) Volpi Cup.”
To this, Suhana Khan replied, "Padmi Shri." Hearing Suhana give this answer, Amitabh Bachchan and Vedang Raina were left shocked.
"How could you that wrong," asked Vedang Raina.
On the other hand, Amitabh Bachchan said, "Beti ko pata nahi hai ki pita ko kya mila hai. Keval baap ne itna hi bata ke bheja hai ki wo saamne baitha hai usne tumhare baap ka kirdaar adaa kiya hai. Toh unko bol dena ki bhaiyya jara aaram se sawaal pucho. Abhi itna aaram se sawaal pucha phir bhi uska jawab nahi de payi ye."
For the unversed, SRK was conferred with the Padma Shri by the Government of India in 2005.
Suhana was visibly embarrassed that she did not know the right answer. For the unversed, the right answer was option D. Volvi Cup.
Earlier, on the show, Amitabh Bachchan had asked Suhana Khan if her father gave her any advice before she came to the quiz show.
"Unhone kahan ki aapko bas yaad dila du ki aapne unke father ka role play kiya hai toh ask me easy questions," said Suhana.
For the unversed, Zoya Akhtar’s ‘The Archies’ released on Netflix on December 7, and the movie opened to mixed reviews.
