Not In A Relationship, Ananya Panday And Aditya Roy Kapur In A “Situationship”? Actor Replies
Aditya Roy Kapur and Arjun Kapoor appeared on the latest episode of Karan Johar’s chat show ‘Koffee With Karan 8’.
Karan Johar returned with an all-new season of his long-running talk show ‘Koffee With Karan’. ‘KWK 8’ became a major talking point online after the premiere episode featuring Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh. After watching a series of married Bollywood celebrities gracing the ‘Koffee’ couch, Karan Johar invited the most eligible bachelors of B-Town, Aditya Roy Kapur and Arjun Kapoor, to ‘Koffee With Karan 8’. The duo’s dressing sense may have clashed in the episode, but they matched each other's sense of humour, owing to their years of friendship.
In one of the previous episodes of ‘KWK 8’, Aditya Roy Kapur’s rumoured girlfriend and actress Ananya Panday graced the couch. In one of the segments of the show when Ananya Panday introduced herself as Ananya Coy Kapur, relationship rumours started to get real. And in the latest episode of ‘KWK 8’, Karan Johar started grilling Aditya Roy Kapur on his dating rumours with Ananya Panday.
Karan Johar asked, “So rumour has it and I asked her as well that you are dating Ananya Panday?”
Aditya Roy Kapur replied and said, “Karan, you said on your show, ‘Ask me no secrets and I’ll tell you no lies’. I remember this.”
The filmmaker then told Aditya Roy Kapur that Ananya Panday said on his show that she was feeling “very Ananya Coy Kapur.”
Replying to this, Aditya Roy Kapur said, “And I am Aditya Joy Kapur as of now.” Karan Johar countered his answer and said, “You mean you’re joyously in a situationship?”
Aditya Roy Kapur said, “I’m quite joyous.” He also said that Ananya Panday is “bliss” and “pure joy”.
In Aditya Roy Kapur’s rapid fire round, Karan Johar asked him, “What would you do if you were stuck in a lift with Shraddha Kapoor and Ananya Panday?”
However, before Aditya could say anything, Arjun gave a reply and said, “Aashiqui toh karta, par kisse woh pata nahi.”
When Aditya Roy Kapur amusingly looked at Arjun Kapoor, the ‘2 States’ actor said, “I am joking” in Chunky Panday’s famous ‘Aakhri Pasta’ style from the Bollywood movie ‘Housefull’ and Aditya failed to get the reference.
When Aditya Roy Kapur won the hamper for the rapid fire round, Arjun Kapoor said, “There could be some Aakhri Pasta inside.”
Replying to this, Aditya Roy Kapur said, “Maybe, let’s see.” Arjun Kapoor looked at Karan Johar and said, “He doesn’t even know that.”
Karan Johar then said, “You will have Aakhri pasta with Ananya after she sees this episode because you have not done adequate research on her daddy dearest.”
Karan Johar and Arjun Kapoor then teased Aditya Roy Kapur for not knowing enough about his rumoured girlfriend’s father. When asked if he had seen Chunky Panday’s film ‘Aag He Aag’, Aditya Roy Kapur said, “Sorry.”
Aditya Roy Kapur also told Arjun Kapoor to send him a list of things that he should watch. For the unversed, Aditya Roy Kapur and Ananya Panday have been rumoured to be dating for a while now. The rumoured celebrity couple is often spotted together at airports and events.
