Latest celebrity news: Singer and rapper Badshah has said that he would be changing the lyrics of his song 'Sanak'.
Badshah, singer and rapper, on Monday took to Instagram to apologise for hurting the sentiments of people with his latest song titled 'Sanak'. He has also promised that he would change the lyrics of the song after facing backlash. In the latest celebrity news, as per news agency ANI, a senior priest of Mahakaleshwar Temple in Madhya Pradesh’s Ujjain district had slammed the rapper for using the name of Lord Shiva along with some "obscene words."
“It has been brought to my attention that one of my recent releases, Sanak, sadly seems to have hurt the sentiments of some people. I would never willingly or unknowingly cause offence to anyone’s sentiments. I bring my artistic creations and musical compositions to you, my fans, with the utmost sincerity and passion," Badshah shared in his statement.
"In light of this recent development, I have taken proactive measures to change some parts of the song and actioned the replacement with this new version on all digital platforms to further avoid hurting anyone," he added.
In the latest celebrity news, Badshah also confirmed that he has already "actioned the replacement" with a new version on all digital platforms, and it will reflect in the days to come.
“The replacement process takes a few days before the changes will reflect on all platforms, I request everyone to be patient during this period. I humbly offer my sincerest apologies to those whom I may have unknowingly hurt," said Badshah.
"My fans remain my bedrock, and I shall always hold them in the highest esteem and with boundless affection. Love Badshah,” he added.
'Sanak' had released in March 2023, and till date, it has gotten more than 22 million views on the official YouTube page of Badshah.
