The newly launched app has already gotten off to a rollicking start as Mark Zuckerberg said that 30 million users signed up for Threads on the very first day. Several Bollywood celebrities have also joined the bandwagon.
Celebrities such as Parineeti Chopra, Diljit Dosanjh, Mrunal Thakur and Masaba Gupta have made their presence felt on Threads.
Parineeti Chopra wrote: "Does anyone feel like it’s the first day of school when you don’t understand what’s happening but are still excited. Just me? Okay #HelloThreads.”
Diljit Dosanjh stated: "Landed on Threads."
Actress Tamannaah Bhatia joined the app and wrote: "I'm th(ready) for this #LetsGo."
Mrunal Thakur wrote: "Since my Twitter was in a stitch, I thought of trying the thread."

Kajol posted a funny caption on Threads, writing: "Finally found the THREAD to my needle! Ready to sew some fun."

Indian entertainment celebrities such as Vijay Varma, Vijay Deverakonda, Masaba Gupta, and Vikrant Massey have also joined the app.
Hollywood royalty including Oprah Winfrey, Kim Kardarshian, Shakira, Jennifer Lopez, Will Smith and Kourtney Kardashian have also already signed up for the app.
For the unversed, the usernames and verification badges carry over from Instagram.
However, the new app, features an intriguing stipulation as users cannot delete their account on Threads. If one wants to delete their Threads account, then they need to delete their linked Instagram account.
“You may deactivate your Threads profile at any time, but your Threads profile can only be deleted by deleting your Instagram account," Meta explained in their supplemental Privacy Policy, reported TechCrunch.
