Recently, Ranbir Kapoor was labelled as a "red flag" on social media after his wife-actress Alia Bhatt revealed that her husband does not like it when she wears lipstick because he likes her "natural lips". However, looks like Ranbir Kapoor has finally won over the internet with his heartfelt gesture towards senior actress Waheeda Rehman.
On Tuesday, Ranbir Kapoor accompanied his wife, Alia Bhatt, as the duo attended the 69th National Film Awards. For the unversed, Alia Bhatt and Kriti Sanon were jointly awarded the Best Actress award for their performances in 'Gangubai Kathiawadi' and 'Mimi', respectively.
A video from the event is going viral on social media, wherein Ranbir Kapoor can be seen being protective of veteran actress Waheeda Rehman as photographers swarmed her for pictures. For the unversed, Waheeda Rehman was honoured with Dadasaheb Phalke award at the ceremony.

In the video, Ranbir Kapoor can be seen seated behind Waheeda Rehman, and he gets up, visibly annoyed. He then requests the media to be careful around the veteran actress, as they were pushing the table.
Ranbir Kapoor then starts explaining the situation to Alia Bhatt, who was seated next to him, and she also nods in agreement.
Soon after the video was shared on Instagram, several social media users flocked to the post’s comment section and praised Ranbir Kapoor.

During the National Film Awards 2023, Ranbir Kapoor was also seen cheering for wife Alia Bhatt. As the actress went on stage to receive the Best Actress Award from the President of India, Droupadi Murmu, Ranbir Kapoor was seen recording the moment on his phone, with a big smile on his face.

Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor will next be seen in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's 'Animal', which also stars Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor, and Rashmika Mandanna.
The movie is slated to release worldwide in theatres on December 1, and it will be going up against Vicky Kaushal's 'Sam Bahadur'.
