Watch: Parineeti Chopra Shuts Down Pregnancy Rumours, Enters “Fitted Clothes Era” As She Rocks Chic Pantsuit
Parineeti Chopra, whose oversized outfits has left fans wondering if she is pregnant, shut down the rumours like a boss.
Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra, who is gearing up for the release of her upcoming film ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’, has been sporting comfortable, oversized outfits in the past few days. Parineeti Chopra’s recent fashion choices have resulted in baseless pregnancy rumours. The Indian actress was spotted wearing a black kaftan dress at the trailer launch event of ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’, after which the rumours of her being pregnant began circulating online. Despite the absence of any evidence or statement from the actress, several media portals also published speculative articles.
Now, Parineeti Chopra has herself come forward to shut down all the pregnancy rumours. Sharing a video on Instagram, Parineeti Chopra captioned the post, “Entering my fitted clothes era.” In the video, Parineeti Chopra can be seen wearing a fitted white pantsuit.

The video begins with Parineeti Chopra sporting a white bodysuit, matching trousers and a blazer with the words, “Wearing well fitted clothes today, because when I tried a kaftan dress…” appearing on the screen.
The video then switches to a picture of Parineeti Chopra in the black kaftan dress, accompanied by headlines suggesting that she’s pregnant. It then cuts back to her current white pantsuit look.
As soon as she shared the video, several social media users reacted to it.
One of them commented, “You slayed in both queen.”
Another one wrote, “But oversized clothes are soooo comfyyyyyyy!!!!!”
A third one said, “You are beautiful as you are our biggest inspiration.”
A few days earlier, Parineeti Chopra, who married AAP leader Raghav Chadha in September 2023, had taken to her Instagram Stories to state that her choice of clothing should not be misconstrued as a sign of pregnancy.
She wrote a note on her story that read “Kaftan dress = pregnancy, oversized shirt = pregnancy, Comfy Indian Kurta = pregnancy,” with a laughing-out-loud emoji.
At the trailer launch event of ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’, Parineeti Chopra opted for a black kaftan dress. After the event, she changed into an oversized white shirt and black pants, sparking further pregnancy rumours.
Parineeti Chopra's upcoming film ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’ has been directed by Imtiaz Ali and the film's music has been composed by AR Rahman.
The film, slated to release on April 12 on Netflix, is based on the life of late Punjabi singing sensation Amar Singh Chamkila, and his wife and collaborator Amarjot Kaur.
