"Haven't Even…": Producer Mukesh Bhatt Rubbishes Reports Of Triptii Dimri Being Cast In 'Aashiqui 3'
Producer Mukesh Bhatt has quashed rumours of Triptii Dimri being roped in as the female lead in 'Aashiqui 3'.
The rumours mill have been rife that 'Animal' actress Triptii Dimri has been roped in as the female lead in Anurag Basu's 'Aashiqui 3', which also stars Kartik Aaryan. A Pinkvilla report stated that Triptii Dimri will be playing the love interest of Kartik in the film. However, in the latest entertainment news, 'Aashiqui 3' producer Mukesh Bhatt has quashed the rumours, saying no actress has been cast yet. He also confirmed that the female lead would only be cast once the music for the film is finalised.
"Rubbish! This is absolutely false. I have made it very clear that we are not casting until the script and the music are ready," 'Aashiqui 3' producer Mukesh Bhatt was quoted as saying by Mukesh Bhatt.
"But everyone wants to cash in on my popular Aashiqui franchise. This is unacceptable. I haven't even met this lady," he added.
Speaking further about it, Mukesh Bhatt said, "The only name that has been finalised is Kartik Aaryan. Kartik and the music are the stars of Aashiqui 3. The rest will happen after we get the music in place, not before."
Triptii Dimri, who has starred in films like ‘Poster Boys’, ‘Laila Majnu’, ‘Bulbbul’ and ‘Qala’, will next be seen in Raaj Shaandilyaa's ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’, co-starring Rajkummar Rao.
She also has Anand Tiwari's ‘Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam’ with Vicky Kaushal in the pipeline.
On the other hand, Kartik Aaryan is also set to start work on the Anees Bazmee-directed ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’, which is slated for a Diwali 2024 release.
Kartik Aaryan will also be seen in Kabir Khan's sports film ‘Chandu Champion’.
