Recently, Aamir Khan hosted a special screening at his residence, inviting close friends and the cast of the film. The evening took a delightful turn when Ranbir Kapoor made a surprise appearance, much to the joy of everyone present. Despite being busy with the shoot of his upcoming film ‘Love & War’, Ranbir took time out of his packed schedule to join the intimate gathering.
His presence brought added excitement, especially as he was seen engaging in a lively foosball match with Aamir Khan’s son, Azad. Dressed in an all-black casual outfit, Ranbir appeared intensely focused on the game, with Azad fully engrossed by his side – a moment that was captured in inside clips from the party.

Another heart-warming video, shared by Aamir Khan’s ex-wife Kiran Rao, showed Ranbir Kapoor’s surprise entry into the event. He warmly interacted with the cast and crew of ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’, and even gifted them caps from his newly launched clothing brand, ARKS.

The film boasts a unique ensemble of ten neurodivergent actors – including individuals with autism, Down syndrome, and other conditions – who play lead roles. The cast features Aroush Datta, Gopi Krishnan Varma, Samvit Desai, Vedant Sharma, Ayush Bhansali, Ashish Pendse, Rishi Shahani, Rishabh Jain, Naman Mishra, and Simran Mangeshkar.
Expressing gratitude for Ranbir Kapoor’s thoughtful gesture, Kiran Rao captioned her video, “Team Sitaare had a surprise guest at their party a few nights ago - who really made their day, as you can see. Thank you Ranbir, for your love and your time - and the fantastic ARKS merch!”
‘Sitaare Zameen Par’, a spiritual successor to Aamir Khan’s 2007 classic ‘Taare Zameen Par’, stars Aamir Khan and Genelia Deshmukh in key roles. It is slated for a theatrical release on June 20.
The film also drew praise recently from author and philanthropist Sudha Murthy, who described it as “a beautiful film” and an “eye-opener.” She lauded its potential to inspire societal change through its sensitive and important storytelling.
